After a tremendously negative streak and going the entire 2025 without a victory, Las Palmas was finally able to secure 3 points away from home against Getafe. Now, the Unión Deportiva must try to ensure that those 3 points not only become 3 points, but a turning point to climb out of relegation and dream of another year in the top flight. They won't have it easy against Atlético de Madrid, so they will have to rely on their most in-form player. The fans already know it, when Fabio Silva plays well, Las Palmas dances. 

The Unión Deportiva continues to face its two important absences: Cillessen and Kirian. Additionally, Pelmard's recovery has been confirmed, although it is not expected that he will start the game. Benito continues to be a mystery having already missed the last 5 matches.

Regarding the starting lineup that Las Palmas will field, Moleiro did not start in the previous match but is expected to return to the starting XI. The main question is whether he will replace one of the midfielders (especially Essugo who was "sacrificed" at halftime of the previous game) or one of the attacking players (McBurnie or Sandro).

Another tough spell for Atlético, as seen in the last Monday's match against Valladolid, where this end of the season could feel eternal for Atlético, with no near objectives, it becomes difficult to maintain focus. Although it was evident how seldom-used players, with little chance of continuing, like Riquelme or Lemar, tried to prove they are not unreliable players.

For Gran Canaria, they expect the full squad to show up, including De Paul and Lino who missed the last game due to injury. We don't know if this could be the match where Griezmann finally starts from the bench, his last three months are begging to be omitted from the starting lineup.

In defense, it's very likely that Le Normand will displace Lenglet in the center. We also see the possibility of Riquelme starting on the right, pushing Giuliano to the left wing, who knows. As for the rest, the usual suspects, only the doubt of whether De Paul will make it, and if so, will he start or will Koke wait on the bench.
