The morning brought a headline: Zubeldia trained separately due to overload from the clash with the Basque selection and could not join the group's usual pace. Sergio Francisco only recovered three out of the four who played on Sunday with Euskal Selekzioa - Marrero, Jon Gorrotxategi, and Aihen Muñoz - while Sergio Gómez is expected to train tomorrow. The team is still without the six injured players and the five internationals, so collective work was once again marked by absences in the Donostian team. 

The day's report

The short week and the preparation for the trip impacted the training load and design. The central defender is still not back with the group, a setback that comes just before the league match at El Sadar, against Osasuna. 

B-team reinforcements

To complete a session with a certain structure, the coaching staff called upon Sanse and youth players. The goalkeeper Arana was present again, and Carrera, Astiazarán, Kita, Garro, Beitia, and Peru Rodríguez also trained, providing fresh legs in a session with a strong presence of academy players. The txuri-urdin group maintained the plan with many reserve players to support the workload despite the numerous absences.
