The Basque club has set his exit at two million euros, but the possibility of a loan gains ground if the market progresses without a clear destination. Vitoria appears as an interesting option for the Guipuzcoan striker.

The economic situation and wages condition the movements: if there are no departures of Nikola Maras, Mariano Díaz, and Moussa Diarra, Deportivo Alavés will find it difficult to assume significant expenses. It already happened in the summer with Maras and Zaragoza, an operation that did not succeed. In this context, at Mendizorroza, the option of a loan is valued. Urko Izeta, 26 years old and a native of Aya (Gipuzkoa), was trained at Ostadar de Lasarte and later at Zarautz. His time at Eibar included being part of the reserve team before going through Arenas de Getxo, Amorebieta, Bilbao Athletic, and Mirandés, where he completed a great season in the Liga Hypermotion. In the 2025-26 season, he returned to Athletic on a three-year contract and made his debut in La Liga on September 13 at San Mamés, precisely against Alavés, who is now interested in him. The forward has offers from abroad, from La Liga, and from numerous teams in the second division.

At the moment, Athletic maintains its valuation around two million euros, although a loan is not ruled out if the market does not offer an immediate exit.
