The move for Konaté would already have its main economic conditions agreed. According to the information cited, the deal includes a four-season contract, running until 2030, with a salary of 12 million euros net per season, around 24 million gross. On top of that figure, the player would receive a 20 million euro signing bonus.

In any case, the operation would not be carried out immediately. Everything is tied to the Real Madrid elections and to Florentino Pérez's continued leadership at the helm of the club. If the current president is re-elected, the signing of the French defender would be activated after the electoral process.

Fabrizio Romano has advanced that an understanding between the parties already exists. In that scenario, Konaté would have paused talks with clubs in Saudi Arabia after the white club's route regained momentum. Real Madrid, always according to that information, had kept the centre-back as an alternative to strengthen the squad for next season, without breaking the rules with Liverpool.
