The situation does not change the roadmap set for the left-back position, as Julio Díaz is still awaiting his arrival from Atlético de Madrid.

The market continues to move strongly in Nervión. After completing the move of Tanguy Nianzou to Lille, an operation that will free up more than five million euros in wage-cap room, the Sevilla also has Julio Díaz lined up, pending official confirmation.

That move pointed directly to a possible exit at left-back. Oso was the name earmarked to leave Ramón Sánchez-Pizjuán, but the negotiations have stalled due to financial differences between the parties.

Sevilla demands more than 10 million euros in fixed fees

According to information from ABC de Sevilla, the Marinakis group, owners of Nottingham Forest and Olympiacos, submitted an eight million euros proposal. The figure has not convinced the sporting leadership, which only considers moving forward with the deal if the offer exceeds 10 million euros in fixed fees, in addition to including add-ons.

With that scenario in place, Oso will continue under the orders of García Plaza and will keep training normally over the coming days. Unless the buying group changes its position, his departure will not happen under the current terms.

Meanwhile, the arrival of Julio Díaz is still on track. The left-back will land as well to strengthen the squad, although his arrival will leave the team with an excess of players in that position. García Plaza could have three players for that flank, in addition to Adrià Pedrosa, so the club does not rule out further moves before the transfer window closes.
