Matchday 3 brings with it the first big challenge for a Sevilla that has started the season in a surprising and excellent way, in equal measure, with two wins in their first two matches. The team arrives full of confidence at the Sanchez Pizjuan and, after this start, nothing better than to host one of the big sides to see how far this good start to the campaign can take them.

That said, it's important to keep both feet on the ground. The goal is still the same as two weeks ago: to stay in LaLiga without suffering. The Sevilla were not relegated a couple of matchdays ago, and they are not safe now. The two wins are a fantastic starting point, but there is still a long way to go, and it will be important not to lose sight of the tangible reality of Sevilla in recent seasons.

Reasons to believe are not lacking, and last season Sevilla were already able to beat Atletico at one of the most complicated moments of the year. Now, with the confidence these first six points bring and the support of their fans, the men from Nervion will have to believe it again if they want to repeat the feat.

Atlético de Madrid

In the middle of the storm, Alvarez, Atletico de Madrid travel to Andalusia's capital to face one of the competition's leaders. First away meeting, the pending task for the last two years for the Colchoneros side: we'll see whether they continue along the same path or take a sudden turn in the situation. 

Atletico's problems come in the attacking department. Those who were expected to be the reference point a month ago are practically ruled out: Sorloth due to the untimely injury that will make him miss some matches, and Alvarez because of the untimely header incident that will keep him out of more matches, or all of them.

In defense, with the absences of Le Normand due to suspension and Romero because he is not in the right place (we believe), in an optimal form to take on 90 minutes, the options are quite limited.

It's expected that small "details" won't happen again in this match like they did against Villarreal, and that the options will be evenly matched when facing a team that has been preparing for longer.
