The Real Sociedad arrive the day before their clash with Real Madrid with several names still pending in the squad. The most notable is Ander Barrenetxea, who trained with the group despite wearing a bandage on his calf.

The winger had raised alarms in the most recent match against Betis, when he had to request a substitution due to minor discomfort. His progress, for now, has been positive and, unless an unexpected late development arises, he should be in a position to be included in the plans for the Bernabeu fixture.
