For this clash, it is likely that the starting XI will be practically the same as the one that played last Wednesday, but we may see some variation or rotation. The Portuguese coach still won't be able to call on lesion with Tchoameni, Endrick, Rodrygo, Pitarch, Militao and Asencio. 

The main doubts lie with the full-backs, where it is still unclear whether Cucurella will go straight into the starting XI or whether Carreras will do so again, and whether on the right flank Dumfries will be the choice again, or if, on the contrary, Mourinho will give minutes to Trent.

Málaga come into the game after earning their first point of the season following a promising match against another of the newly promoted sides, Deportivo de A Coruña.

However, even though a win couldn't be secured after the final whistle, very good minutes from Funes's team were on display, which gives hope to the Boquerón side, who will visit a Real Madrid coming off another great match against Real Sociedad.
