LALIGA Fantasy confirms when it will hand over points from postponed Matchday 1
Managers will have to wait until next week to receive the pending points and rewards. The immediate start of Matchday 3 prevents the final update from being carried out right now.
It is official: the points from the postponed matches of Matchday 1 of LALIGA Fantasy DAZN will be awarded next week. The platform will also update the financial rewards that are still pending at that time.
The lack of an update had sparked numerous doubts and complaints among users, especially after the last matches of the matchday were completed on Thursday night. However, from the game they have sent a message to reassure players: no manager will lose the points they earned or the money they are owed.
Why aren't the points updated immediately?
The reason is linked to the start of Matchday 3. LALIGA Fantasy does not carry out updates on the same day that a new matchday begins, as this process could cause issues with the scoring, the standings, or the distribution of rewards.
Matchday 1 was definitively completed on Thursday, August 27, after the postponed fixtures were played, but the competition's third date begins this Friday. For this reason, the platform has decided to postpone the final update until next week.
What will happen to the points from the postponed matches?
The points earned by the players from the Valencia-Betis, Real Madrid-Real Sociedad, Celta-Osasuna and Barcelona-Athletic Club matches remain tied to Matchday 1.
When LALIGA Fantasy runs the update, those scores will automatically be added to the teams that had those players in their lineups. The pending financial rewards will also be handed out, and the league standings will be updated.
Users do not need to take any action or change their squads. The recalculation will be done automatically, respecting the lineups registered for Matchday 1.
Many questions and complaints on X
The absence of the points has generated plenty of activity on X over the past few hours. Numerous managers have asked the LALIGA Fantasy account why the scores from the postponed matches were still not showing and when the final update would take place.
The official explanation helps clarify the situation: it is not that the points have disappeared or that there is a problem with the lineups. The system will simply wait until next week to carry out the update without interfering with the start of Matchday 3.
What day will the rewards be handed out?
For now, no specific date or exact time has been communicated. The only confirmation is that the points and the money will be delivered during next week.
So, it is a matter of a bit of patience. The scores are already recorded and, once the final update has been completed, each manager will receive everything they are owed for the postponed matches of Matchday 1.
