Valencia have four question marks to resolve before hosting Deportivo
Friday's training session at Paterna left several key names out of the squad. Diakhaby, Maffeo, Luis Rioja and Guido Rodríguez did not train with the group in the penultimate session before Sunday's match.

Carlos Corberán's squad faces the final stretch of pre-season with doubts still open. The coach still has to wait to find out whether he can count on several important pieces for the league clash against Deportivo de La Coruña.
The Valencia CF completed another training session, shaped by the absences of Mouctar Diakhaby, Pablo Maffeo, Luis Rioja and Guido Rodríguez. None of the four took to the pitch with the rest of their team-mates and all remained inside the facilities at the Ciudad Deportiva de Paterna.
For now, the blanquinegra club has not communicated the reason for these absences. This lack of information keeps the situation of the players up in the air, especially given how close the match is, with the team set to play this Sunday against the Deportivo de La Coruña.
De Haas remains on the sidelines with an ankle injury
The session also saw the continuation of De Haas' recovery process. The centre-back continues to work away from the group due to the ankle injury that, according to the initial prognosis, will keep him out of action for around a month.
The case of Guido Rodríguez carries extra weight because of his importance in the Valencia midfield, while Diakhaby, Maffeo and Rioja are also among the players expected to play a prominent role in Corberán's plans for the season.
This Saturday, Valencia will hold their final training session before the match, a session that could help clarify the situation of the four players who did not train with the group this Friday.
