The Real Betis could make changes across several lines for the match at the Ciutat de València. Manuel Pellegrini has alternatives in defence, midfield and attack, although without breaking the core that has left a good impression at the start of the season.

The back line is one of the areas where the most movement could appear. Pellegrini already hinted at Mestalla that he has options available and under consideration for all of his defenders, which opens the door to rotations after the win over Valencia. On the right flank, Héctor Bellerín has the possibility of returning to the starting XI, while Marc Bartra looks set to form a centre-back pairing with Natan.

The left side is also pending a decision. Fran García could come in for Junior Firpo, in a defensive line where the Betis keeps several options open for the trip to the Levante.

There are no expected changes in goal. Álvaro Valles would continue to defend the verdiblanco goal at the Ciutat de València after a strong start to the campaign. The La Rinconada goalkeeper has responded with two top-level displays, and everything points to Pellegrini giving him continuity.

Doubts in midfield and in the attacking reference

In midfield, Marc Roca appears as one of the names with the most options to return to the starting XI after resting against Valencia. The other spot is more uncertain: Bernal, a starter in the first two matchdays, is competing with Fidalgo, who still has not had minutes, and with Deossa, one of the new faces in the XI at Mestalla.

In the attacking area, Antony starts with an advantage over Pablo García, despite the goal scored by the academy player last Tuesday. Fornals would also have continuity, while Isco, still working to increase his involvement little by little, remains a key piece for the Chilean coach.

The left wing would keep Roro Riquelme as a starter, with Abde still working to get back to his best physical version. The main doubt is up front, where Troy Parrott could get his chance ahead of Cucho Hernández after the good impressions he left in the win over Valencia.

Prediction from El Correo de Andalucía: Valles; Bellerín, Marc Bartra, Natan, Fran García; Marc Roca, Bernal/Deossa/Fidalgo; Antony, Fornals, Riquelme; Parrott/Cucho.
