Sergio Martínez Montero already has a new destination. The young midfielder from Racing de Santander has taken the decisive step and will be a new Real Madrid player, in a deal that is already closed pending the official announcement of the agreement by both the Cantabrian club and the Whites.

According to information published this Saturday, the Real Madrid has closed the signing of the 19-year-old player, who would sign until June 2030. The deal is said to have been wrapped up for around 3 million euros, a figure that matches the release clause that was included in the player's contract.
The agreement represents a major step forward in Sergio Martínez's career. The player will initially be part of Real Madrid Castilla, although he will have the opportunity to train with the first team.
And that is one of the key points of the deal: José Mourinho would have been directly involved in the decision to bring the player in and would have requested that Sergio be able to work with the first team. The Whites' intention is to keep a close eye on his progress and assess his development within the Madrid set-up.
