Twenty top-level footballers still available and with experience in LaLiga

LaLiga EA Sports' transfer market closed at night on September 1, but activity has not stopped completely. Players who remain without a contract can join any club in the coming days, weeks or months, while some foreign leagues still have their registration periods open.

Among the free agents are twenty top-level footballers, including several names who know the Spanish competition first-hand. Dani Carvajal and Dani Parejo saw their respective contracts with Real Madrid and Villarreal come to an end, but they have not yet found a new destination.

The list also includes other players recently linked with Spanish football. Joselu Mato, Pedro Rodríguez and Sergio Ramos remain without a club, and none of them has announced their retirement despite being in the veteran stage of their careers.

In the group of players with a Real Madrid past are David Alaba and Karim Benzema. Free agent Philipe Coutinho also remains available, and at 34 years old he is still the most expensive signing in Barcelona's history.

Two more players who finished their time at Real Betis are Ricardo Rodríguez and Cedric Bakambu, still waiting to find a new club.

More standout names without a club

The list of footballers with experience in LaLiga is rounded out by names such as Luciano Vietto, Adnan Januzaj and Anthony Martial, who wore the shirt of Sevilla FC, among other teams.

They are joined by internationally renowned players who are also currently free agents: Jadon Sancho, Riyad Mahrez, Raphael Guerreiro, Mauro Icardi, Paul Pogba, Wijnaldum and El Shaarawy.

So, the end of the Spanish window does not prevent these players from signing for a club at any time, since they are without a contract. The existence of open windows in several foreign leagues also expands the chances of finding a destination.
