The Celta will face tomorrow's match against Real Sociedad without Aleix Febas. The midfielder has been unable to complete the sessions from the past two days due to the discomfort he has been carrying after taking a knock in the last match, as Claudio Giráldez explained in the press conference ahead of the game.

The impact happened in an incident inside the area with Unai Simón. Febas has discomfort when breathing and swelling in the affected area, so he will have to rest before rejoining the group for training.

“Aleix took a knock the other day with Unai Simón, in a situation inside the area, and he has discomfort when breathing. Until the swelling from the knock goes down a bit, we hope he can be available for the Getafe match, but he hasn't been able to go out onto the pitch these two days and he needs rest”, Giráldez said.

The coach wanted to play down the setback and ruled out the player suffering a serious injury. “It's nothing worrying, but he has to wait a few days,” he said.

For the match against Real Sociedad, Giráldez has Antañón and Burcio as options, while Stefan Bajcetic can also take that role after joining the squad.

“For that we have the squad we have. We have Antañón, Burcio, who trained and was in the squad with us, and Bajcetic also comes in, who is a player who for us can also play in that position”, the coach added.

Giráldez said that Celta will compete to the maximum despite the absences: “We are going to put out a competitive team, we are going to field the best we can have today.”

The coach also expects to recover other players soon. “Borja and Aleix, I think they will be with us soon, and I hope Iván will be too,” he concluded.
