Rayo-Racing will finally be played this Saturday at Butarque

The match between Rayo Vallecano and Racing de Santander will finally be played this Saturday, after LaLiga dismissed the postponement request submitted by the Madrid club.

The request was filed by the franjirroja club yesterday afternoon, but the competent body has decided to keep the conditions set for the match. In this way, the fourth matchday clash in the league campaign will kick off at 18:30 at the Estadio Municipal de Butarque.

Rayo Vallecano will once again act as the home team away from Vallecas. The stadium is still not considered suitable to host football matches under current conditions, so the Madrid side will have to play this fixture in Leganés, as was initially scheduled.

Deficiencies at the Estadio de Vallecas continue to affect the club's start to the season. While this situation is resolved, Rayo will have to keep looking for alternatives to play their home matches.

So, Rayo Vallecano and Racing de Santander will go head-to-head this Saturday from 18:30 at Butarque, in a match corresponding to the fourth matchday of the league campaign.
