Adama Traoré asks for a place in Deportivo: his first start is getting closer
Adama Traoré keeps gaining ground in Antonio Hidalgo's plans. The winger has still not been named in the starting XI since joining Deportivo, but his involvement has increased progressively and against Sevilla he played the entire second half.

The rotations made by Hidalgo during this start to the season have allowed the coach to test different options. After the five changes he made on Wednesday against Sevilla, this Sunday a large part of the usual XI is expected to return, although Adama is among the options the coach is considering.
The forward had to wait until the match against Villarreal to enjoy his first minutes with Deportivo. After that, he again took part against Getafe, and his role grew once more against Sevilla.
It was precisely against the Andalusian side that he reached his biggest share of minutes so far. Adama played the entire second half, confirming a gradual improvement in his involvement since he began to enter Hidalgo's plans.

His presence also allows Hidalgo to change the attacking structure during matches. The coach explained after Wednesday's game what he wanted to achieve when he brought on Adama and replaced Nsongo: “we needed more people inside, we needed to pin them out wide. And, in that superiority, to be able to move the ball from side to side”.
That way, the winger continues to increase his involvement while waiting for the chance to be named in the starting XI for the first time with Deportivo.
