Valencia have reportedly made an offer for Kayne van Oevelen. Volendam are asking for between two and three million for the 22-year-old Dutch goalkeeper.

The Valencia continue to explore the market in search of young players with room to grow, and have set their sights on Kayne van Oevelen. According to De Telegraaf, the Mestalla club has already made an offer for the Volendam goalkeeper, one of the revelations of last season in Dutch football.

The goalkeeper, 22 years old and 1.99 metres tall, has attracted interest from several teams after establishing himself as a starter in his debut in the Eredivisie. His performances were not enough to prevent the Volendam's relegation, as they lost the play-off final for survival on penalties against Willem II, but his displays have put him in the spotlight.

Van Oevelen stands out for his imposing physical presence, his ability to dominate the aerial game and good reflexes in goal. He also offers confidence in one-on-one situations and has room to improve with the ball at his feet, an aspect that is increasingly valued in modern goalkeepers.

The Volendam view the Dutchman as a key piece and have set a price of between two and three million euros to let him leave this summer, a significant amount for a goalkeeper who has only one season in the top flight.

Valencia's interest is in line with the club's policy of bringing in young players with projection and growth potential. If talks move forward, Van Oevelen could become a long-term bet to strengthen Mestalla's goalkeeping and take an important step in his career outside the Netherlands.
