This is how Racing look after the transfer window closes: plenty of hope

To the arrivals we already knew about, Villalibre, Sergio Canales, Pablo Ramón, Yassir Zabiri, Agirrezabala and Pedro Felipe, there are seven new signings in the final stretch of a transfer window that is now closed.

The latest additions

– Atlético de Madrid → Racing

One of the big bets of the window. Left winger who can play on both flanks and even as a forward. He arrives on a transfer and signs until 2030. Racing acquire 50% of his rights for around 5.5 million euros, according to the information published.

– Bayer Leverkusen → Racing
Left-sided defender who can play as a centre-back and left-back. He arrives on loan until June 2027. His pace, ability to carry the ball out and versatility could be important for José Alberto.

– Cagliari → Racing
Italian midfielder with an organizing profile. He arrives on loan for a season, with an option to buy for Racing. He brings the ability to manage the ball and experience despite his youth.

 – Girona → Racing
Attacking midfielder aged 27, with extensive experience in top-flight football. He arrives on a transfer and signs until 2030. He can play as an inside forward or as a second striker, and he brings work rate, arriving in the box and quality between the lines.

Two departures in the final stretch, in addition to the already known exit of Sergio Martínez to Real Madrid, Gustavo Puerta leaves Racing to join Olympiacos, while Diego Díaz will play this season on loan at FC Andorra.
