The return of Francho Serrano expands the blue-and-once coach's options for the next league fixture. The midfielder has overcome the niggles that had kept him out and is already among the players available.

The situation is different for Andrés García. The right-back does not appear in the final squad list for the Getafe CF, despite the fact that his absence was not initially expected. The club has not detailed the reason for this last-minute drop-out and, although it is suggested that he may have suffered another physical problem, there is no official confirmation of the cause.

The match against the RC Deportivo is for the fifth matchday of LaLiga EA Sports and comes with several more absences in the Madrid side.

Francho returns, but the treatment room continues to shape the squad

Juanmi, Kiko Femenía, Abqar and Uche remain injured and will also not be available for the game. All four are still out of Bordalás's plans as they progress through their respective recovery processes.

Joining them is Zaid Romero, whose absence is due to a different reason. The defender also will not be able to take part this matchday as he is serving a suspension.
