Bargains: Biwenger picks for matchday 9
These are the players you should sign as soon as possible for your team and who should increase in value in a short space of time. Looking for economic profitability. We are looking for players who cost 2 million euros or less, roughly.
Fortuño330.000€-30.000€4
PTFortuño - 280,000 € - +40,000
Dimitrovic in a slump or injured. Two theories are doing the rounds and only Manolo González knows what will happen. But, what if Fortuño stays in the starting spot? With a lack of cheap goalkeepers and a week ahead, we can get returns for at least a week. We make the move.
Defenders
Ángel Recio1.610.000€-50.000€7
DFRecio - 1,240,000€ +60,000
The club believes in his development. This season he has started every match and he has not been substituted for a single minute. 66% of the managers who have bought him, have started him. He is going to keep growing and it is a double opportunity: points and the market.
Alex Freeman2.980.000€+30.000€9
DFFreeman - 1,780,000€ +70,000
Despite very low 'picas' scores for what he should really be getting, he has started three matches in a row. The American is growing with every game, delivering what is expected of him. Now is the time to back.
Midfielders
De Jong1.480.000€+130.000€-
MDDe Jong - 1,740,000€ +60,000
It was just a matter of stepping onto the pitch, starting to do partial training sessions, and the value begins to rise. Flick has said that he has asked De Jong to train as a centre-back, which is generating excitement about seeing this new side of the Dutchman.
Villares1.090.000€+60.000€5
MDVillares - 700,000€ +40,000
Just before this matchday's game, his coach said: "Villares played an extraordinary match the other day, besides the goal. He is our captain, our reference point and we really believe in him." He is racking up minutes and goals, and it is a good chance to get a solid stopgap, with the coach's trust.
Forwards
Raba980.000€+180.000€10
DLRaba - 410,000 € +140,000
He had been in the league for 10 minutes, adding up all his matches before Aguirre arrived at Valencia. He debuted as a starter and scored, is Dani Raba back? Valencia needs a profile like his.
Adrián Niño1.490.000€+120.000€11
DLAdrián Niño- 1,070,000 € +70,000
He is getting opportunities and is in fourth place among the players with the best goalscoring average. A goal every 60 and few minutes. A bargain as a stopgap, and who knows if something more in the future.
